ICE CREAM

This is the photo of my friend i took in Jakarta few months ago. This cute display shows that everyone needs something fresh in nowadays hot weather. What amazes me is that, right adjacent to the display, there are kiosks selling ice creams, drinks, or something fresh. This trick is so effective as this is so eye-catching and indeed can boost sales.

Tales of Creativity and Play

TED talks

Tim Brown discusses about the relationship between creativity and play. Most people tend to be conservative because they fear with judgement and embarrassment. Trusted environment is one of the solutions because we would feel less apprehension. That's why friendship is a shortcut to play. It gives us a sense of trust. As a designer, we need 3 important things which is exploration, building, and role playing.

GENTLE GIANTS

Saw it infront of Cathay mall today.It's about a reminder for us not to turn a blind eye to the dire state of the elephants because the number of Asian elephants keep decreasing everyear. "Say no to buying ivory products or animal parts and keep these gentle giants a chance to live" 

GRAFFITI

Graffiti has been known since ancient times. This photo of graffiti i took is made by NAFA students, which is made to show their connection to each other. I think despite the differences of our skin colors, races, or cultures, when it's relating to arts, any kind of arts, everyone can blend in, and unite.

CREATIVITY

I saw this picture inside the Central mall.

We all known the most basic foundation of houses are made of either woods or blocks, roofs are made of tiles, and mountains are composed of soils. But in this village, the dwellers throw out their creativity through exchanging such 

materials to fruits,vegetables and breads,like cheese are used as the foundation or wall of the houses,the use of arranged cucumbers or sliced breads as rooftops, and breads taking the role as mountains.

3D Painting

Last year i went to Shanghai and found this captivating 3D painting at the exhibition.

TOILET

I took this picture at Nafa Galleries 1&2 where all the fine arts student's graduation works are on display. Definitely this one is my favourite artwork among all! look at the running water from the faucet. it's realistic!! This piece of art truly depicts an impeccable skill.
